Beetronics FX Royal Jelly OD/Fuzz Blender Pedal Demo

Sweetwater‘s Don Carr tries a delicious sample of Royal Jelly, a dual-circuit, dual-channel monster collaboration between Beetronics FX and acclaimed pedal designer Howard Davis. It‘s a dirt pedal that proves there’s still something new under the sun! The Royal Jelly’s two channels function identically but are distinguished by different names: the King and Queen. The King and Queen knobs control the blend between the Royal Jelly’s smooth overdrive and pummeling fuzz. When it comes to customization, the Royal Jelly has a lot to offer: there‘s a Hi/Lo EQ with 10dB boost/cut range, a Buzz footswitch for an instantaneous jolt of treble, and a Dry knob that lets you keep the perfect amount of your dry signal (which makes the Royal Jelly a good pick for bass and synth as well). Check it out!

Just ordered one as so few fuzz and drive pedals that cover as much ground as this.

Don. Something I would like to see in the future, but I know it will never happen. I would like to see all pedals ran through the same amp to get a better idea of what it will really sound like when they get it home. A good choice of amp would be a Fender twin reverb. Most everyone who plays much at all is familiar with the Fender sound and can relate it to their own equipment. As for as guitars most knowledgeable players know the difference between a Fender and a Gibson so it would not be as important as the amp used. I think there would be a lot of guitarist out there that would agree with me. The pedal your using right now has a great sound but what's it going to sound like on my amp?
This would help in picking the right pedal for your amp and style of music.
Thanks.
