I am using the same cooler as we speaking and I have to say, It is the most silent and sexy cooler out there, and it does a hell of a job keeping my 4770 supercooled

Don't tighten the nuts with the wrench, hold the nuts and screw in the screw from the backside. That's how it's meant to be done.... trust me, i am german...

Someone probably already mentioned this, but you are supposed to install the nuts and threaded parts BEFORE you install the cooler onto the backplate, doing this allows you to install it essentially with one hand, because all you need now is to secure the screws on the back of the motherboard and done.

Love this cooler! If anyone is still on the fence about buying this, as long as you don't have stupidly high ram, I would highly recommend you try this cooler. It keeps my i5 3570k @ 4.2 Ghz running at an average of 26 degrees idle and hasn't gone any higher than 50 whilst rendering and gaming. This cooler performs very similarly to my h100i accept it just take slightly longer to cool the cpu down after full load, saying that it is nearly inaudible with the fan set to around 1000 rpm. The loudest component in my computer is now my mechanical hard drive.

Kudos to Fractal for supporting you so early on.

You need a water pump facility to cool an FX9590...

In order to make installation easier install the heat-sink before the ram in order to access the nuts a bit easier then add in the ram and then finally put on the fans.

I had to get a hand from my father to fit my NHD-14 to my new X99 setup. Man that shit is just hard for anyone.

I would love to see the rest of the products they sent you :)

People of the future will laugh at our ridiculously large air-coolers

It would be nice if you include fan noise in the video. I mean something like this is how it sounds at XY rpm or if possible even better would be measured results of noise.

Just got the dark rock 3 and I just gotta say that you'll really appreciate the cooler much more in person as you can really see the beauty of it but where it really excels is in the silence department. Currently using it on my amd FX6300 overclocked to 4.7ghz and currently on 30 degrees idle and around give or take 40 degrees on full load or when gaming.

Kinda sucks that my stock cooler outperforms this one but doesn't look as nice, another issue is I have no idea what my stock cooler is
