The COVID-19 pandemic has created economic challenges worldwide that has also impacted small businesses and start-ups, typically thought of as the driver for economic growth. Here in the US, small businesses and high-growth start-ups have been navigating this uncharted territory while still responding to changes in demand, marketing and most importantly, keeping their employees safe. We hear from Barbara Clarke, MA‘91, co-founder and president of Impact Seat, and Debarshi Nandy, Barbara and Richard M. Rosenberg Professor of Global Finance at Brandeis International Business School.
