Decontamination in Harvest: The 7 Steps of Sanitation

The speakers for this webinar were Stefan Wright, the Director of Food Processing for Sterilex, and Jeff Odle, the Technical Director of Marketing and Manager for LANXESS NA Disinfectants Business Line.

A presentation on ASF and transportation disinfection segment was given, followed by a presentation on decontamination in processing. The traditional 7 steps of cleaning and sanitation with an emphasis on an extra disinfection step that can be used during decontamination events or during periods of heightened microbial challenges was also discussed.
