Clarence White Signature Licks - James Paul Mitchell

Here are a couple signature Clarence White electric guitar licks. He got a lot of mileage out of these in a number of difference tunes - check out recordings I mention in the video.
A few of these involve a B-bender, which I do not have, so I've arranged them to play without one.
I'm a huge fan of Clarence's electric playing, and lean heavily on his influence for my country guitar vocabulary. I hope you find this useful!

Edit/Update/Correction:
I have been informed that it was actually Bob Warford playing on "Willin'"! This pretty much blew my mind, I was completely fooled! That being said, I think all the licks I demonstrated from that song are also played by Clarence in some of the other songs I mentioned in the video. So, yeah - check out Bob Warford.

He was he best guitarist I have seen live. I saw him three times. I am seventy one now and have been to many a concert and seen many guitarists and have played for 59 years myself.

Cool, thanks a lot for that. Got a tele coming in a couple days, been enjoying Clarence's playing for years and these are some licks that recognize from his playing immediately. Can't wait to spend some time learning them.
