There's a way to turn off your maintenance alerts by setting SIM 21 to Free. This does not reset your developer, SIM 24-5 does that. SIM 24-6 resets your drum. From here expect spots and lines on your copies as your drum wears out. And when your copy has a gritty texture, that's the worn out developer sandblasting the inside of your machine. Reset counters all you want, but don't kid yourselves into thinking you're being thrifty, when your machine is destroyed because you didn't have the routine maintenance done.
