I like the look of the helmet. I do have some questions though. 1. What are the face masks made out of? They remind me of the old school plastic face masks. 2. I would like to see a video of someone using the app to get the measurements for the players head and then how Riddell processes that information. 3. I would love to see a tear down and rebuild of one of these helmets. I know this was released today, but will more face masks variations be available? Cheers!

These things look very strange but I have to be honest I'm impressed. The vision these things give to players must be on another level.

I remember when the first gen of REVOs came out all the way back when. Crazy how things have evolved.

It looks amazing. However, is it really that functional? The lack of eye guard concerns me. As a defensive tackle, our initial contact oftentimes is with our facemask and helmet, If I'm facing a 300+ pound offensive guard and he's wearing a sturdy ol' facemask and I go against him with this facemask and visor, I don't see how it won't break almost right away. There is a reason why we currently wear visors underneath the facemasks. Yet, the initial price I've seen on some publications is not as high as I expected. When compared to the Vicsis Trench 2.0 this seems like a cheaper, cool-looking, choice. But yet again, I'm not looking for appearance points, but protection and durability.

This helmet seems to be designed for WR, QB, CB, and RB. I'd love to see more footage of real-life contact in the trenches. Still, good job Riddell, always looking to innovate.

Today I got a 3d scan and it took like 3 mins for the scan and it’ll cost like 739$

Looks like the biggest change to me is that they simply made the helmet bigger with a far larger frontal zone. I think that it will have to be revised to ensure eye protection without the visor.

some people are talking about eye protection for d line or line. but based on your position you will get a different face mask i play d line & got an axiom from the school & it has a different face mask that is showed in this video
