this album dropped a couple of days after a great loss in life which rendered me handicapped in certain aspect of life until today which i am still struggling to cope with.

i was utterly lost and i resorted to marijuana for the first time the day i heard this. it was a gentle experience as if i was cradled from then onwards.
suffice to say i would have taken my life somewhere along the 20+ years of coping with the loss if not for the sound and weed.

K&D truly made life more bearable on a planet where i dont even have anyone to call family.

OMG I listened to this song a decade ago when me and my friends were on san pedro cactus for a whole week at a beach house tripping balls listening to this song.. It blew my fucking mind.. I remember there was a painting of a lion in the lounge and we would be laying on the couches looking at it and it came alive and jumped out of the painting.. Craziest week of all time.

I was 22 when there was nothing but Kruder & Dorfmeister in my heart and in my soul. This was one of my particulary special favourites alongside Eastwest and many others. I used to get off work and go by myself in a quiet place and trip out to their music. Boy those songs really used to slow down time, and even now, as im listening to this i feel my soul aches a bit after my passed youth and introspective sessions. The badass bassline always manages to give me a dose of testo, but the delayed vocals and heartplucking guitar strings stirr up so many profound and deep emotions. These guys really knew what they were doing

I still remember visiting a scuba island off of Honduras and the resident DJ was playing the fucking Counting Crows!! Immediately I handed him this CD and it played pretty steady until I left. The stunned, lost look on their faces once they realized I was leaving with my CD.
