American Airlines Flight 965 crash-better quality(FSX)

American Airlines Flight 965, a Boeing 757 registered N651AA, was a scheduled flight from Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Cali, Colombia, which crashed into a mountain in Buga, Colombia on December 20, 1995, killing 151 passengers and 8 crew members. The crash was the first U.S.-owned 757 accident and the highest death toll of any accident in Colombia. It is also the highest death toll of any accident involving a Boeing 757 at that time. It was surpassed by Birgenair Flight 301 which crashed on 6 February 1996 with 189 fatalities. It was the deadliest air disaster involving a U.S. carrier since the downing of Pan Am Flight 103 on December 21, 1988. Four passengers survived the crash, all of whom were seated in the same row.
The Colombian Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics investigated the accident and determined it was caused by navigational errors by the flight crew.

Let's clarify he did NOT fall asleep. This isn't really the time to use figures of speech.

I wish I could have met him. Captain Tefuri was the great uncle of my cousins and brother of their grandparents. This accident is very close to them. It is terribly unfortunate. When I was over the grandmother's house, I was looking at some pictures on a shelf of Tefuri in front of his 757. He seemed to really enjoy his job. It is terribly unfortunate that such a great man's life ended so tragically. May he rest in peace.

Actually, their biggest mistake was in accepting the new runway clearance without taking the time to do the appropriate cockpit briefing. Had they done that, they would have realized that they didn't have time to go through all of the procedures (finding the charts, way points etc) to land at the new runway. They would have then just continued their approach to the original runway. Instead, they rushed everything, and it ended in disaster.

When they got the terrain warning to pull up, they immediately increased thrust and pulled up, but they forgot to disengage the spoilers (speed brakes), If the pilots had remembered to retract the spoilers when they pulled up, they would have cleared the mountain according to the NTSB. Unfortunately, they didn't...
