As a PC gamer I bought a switch lite for animal crossing only… now it’s become my go to system as I love its simplicity and portability + the “Nintendo” games are just such beautiful worlds to live in.

Switch Lite is the perfect side console for a PC Gamer. Love it.

I did the same and never looked back. I was getting older and didn't had the patience to replace PC parts anymore and the Switch literally saved the hobby for me.

These are the type of videos that many people should watch, explain pros and cons in a neutral zone with an extra personal opinion without any exageration or unnecesary hate for a console (not only nintendo). Games are made for everyone, we have options depending of our needs and desires.

I always had my SP or DS on me growing up and absolutely loved handheld gaming so when the Switch came out it really filled a vacuum for me and got me back into gaming after become disenchanted with it for a good few years. Nintendo really did something right with this one. Best console of all time for me. I'm not too concerned with beefy graphics or performance honestly... Just give me all the nostalgia, fresh new games regularly coming out and a nice library of ports we all love and I'm all in. The PS5 is better on paper, but it could never compare to the magic of a Nintendo console I can bring on a long car ride or flight and play Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart and freaking Skyrim. You can't beat it.

I bought mine like 2 years ago just for the ports i knew they were coming to the switch and we will get more ports like No man sky <3. However i've always wished i had a docking option when playing at home, Some games are better on a big screen and not having the option made me get the Switch oled and boy the Oled is like playing videos games in Heaven.

I love my switch lite and actually regret buying the OG switch as I never really use it. The lite is basically my replacement for the ps vita as its had ports from other games I used to play on that system.

Switch lite was my first ever console and even "product" in general i pre ordered. I couldnt stand my friends switch cause of the build quality and the amount of play you have when the joycons are attached to the system. And i allready had a ps4 so i didnt feel the necesity to play docked. But when this was announced i was ALL OVER IT. I watched every video. Every pre launch review and had to have it. Its my favourite console...ever?

12 years of PC gaming here and made the "Switch" to Nintendo too. There's a whole group of games I've never played before and now I can do so more comfortably. It is so small and "lite" that it fits in my pocket, unlike the Steam Deck I passed on two weeks ago. As a person who's looking to quit gaming as a whole, the Switch acts as a nicotine patch, letting me play something for a few minutes instead of dedicating hours on my PC with my favorite games. It's an awesome little device with just the right amount of everything.

I have mine for about 5 months now and its my first Switch console. I got it with the premise that I will sell it later and get Switch OLED, but after owning it for this time... I really dont feel like I need a new Switch console. Lite is good enough for me, and Im kind of glad that I cant switch to TV, because I will have always the same and consistent experience with my games and less thinking of where to play. It might be a con, that I cant switch to TV, but Im alright with handheld only.
And if I really want to play on TV, I can just play on PS4.
I also got a Satisfye grip, because I had some trouble with playing platformers on d-pad or just playing games for longer sessions... but with that grip its so much better. If you have any grip issues like that, I recommend you to give it a try. There is also Skull n Co grip, but I wasnt able to try this one.

Honestly not a bad pick for a first handheld/console! Can't wait for them to make the Lite 2.0! 😂 I take my Lite with me everywhere. If only it had slight improvements...

I’ve had my lite for a few weeks now, I was originally gonna buy the V2 switch but I found someone selling the lite for such a good price I ended up buying it there and then. It’s pretty good so far but my only complaint would be the small screen. It worked out though because if I bought the v2 switch I would only play it handheld :)

As a longtime PC gamer, I bought my switch lite 2 years ago. I have to be honest here, I've been so used to pirating and cheap games on PC that it has spoiled me. Moving to switch lite, I was so shocked at the game prices, particularly how it won't change even after years and years after release. $60 for a 5+ year old digital game is a really bad value for me. The nintendo online subscription poses absolutely no value to me at all. I find the free retro games to be insufficient for what you are paying for on a yearly basis.

On the other hand, I love the mods that I made to my switch lite. I changed the shell to atomic purple and am loving it. For now, I am keeping it with me in hopes that I'll find a way to love it again once the pandemic ends, and I have to commute to work again. This together with my Miyoo Mini will definitely get some use by then.

For those wanting to get the Lite, please know that the device might be cheaper now, but the amount spent on games will be much more significant than any other platforms, unless you only purchase games during sales and indie games worth $1. I'm not sure if most people will be on the same position as me as I live in a third world country, and finding a hobby gets a little difficult, so take this with a grain of salt. Love the video, by the way :)

Since i own a PC and a Switch. I can say if i didnt own a dedicated gaming PC, i could imagine just owning a Switch and getting by. As a stand alone console/handheld there's so much to play.

Great production!, when I saw the video I thought it was the typical channel of some specialized media and not someone who has just started

I was never a huge nintendo fan but I got a Nintendo switch lite for me and my gf so she would get more into games. I don't know, there's something about the switch that kind of reignited my love for games, I can't quite put my finger on why, but every game seems more interesting on it. There's games where I would probably play 20min on my series s and give up but on switch is a whole different vibe. Anyone felt the same thing?
