DOLCE GUSTO - Diffuser not clicking in place - HOW to, easy!

Hello Guys,

A lot of you asked me to make a video explaining how to repair the diffuser plate retainer clip, if the plate in not clicking in place anymore. On your request this is the video.

THank you very muuch Mr Adrian, i filnally solved thanks to your precious tutorial . I thought I had to throw away my Dolce Gusto thinking I had broken something while removing the heat plate.This is a very common problem but you are the only one who took the time to solve it.

Thank you Adrian for your videos. They are incredibly helpful. In one of your videos, you show how to address the issue whereby the diffuer plate isn't catching on the retainer clip. I'm having problems trying to get this to work. How do I take the front cover off so I can get to the retainer clip, as you show in your video?

Hi Adrian.

When I saw the video title, i thought it's addressing my problem but obviously not.

I suddenly started to have my machine not pressing well on my capsules (even if there's no capsule, the upper lever to press neddle has some resistance).

Then, i think this caused another problem which is, my water trigger lever on top doesn't lock anymore.. I have to hold it until my coffee is filled and machine stops automatically.

I believe there's a mechanical issue inside but before I tear the machine down, I'd like to ask you opinion; what could be the reason and fix for this?

Hey, my switch doesn't stay in place when I want to make a coffee, when I move it to the cold or hot side it springs back to the middle and starts flashing red. Any ideas ?

I've been descaling my melody and I've done everything but the head still seems to overspill aswell as coming through the needle.its over 9 yrs old now could the rubber seal be perished

Can you give me a reason why my hot and cold lever won’t stay in place in either hot or cold, but bounces back to the middle.?
I’ve descaled the machine and cleaned the hole with the needle.
