This song touches me in the deepest of ways. My beautiful daughter Catrina was murdered by her boyfriend Dec 27 2015 in front of their son and I have felt partially responsible because I knew he was abusive and still didnt do more to try and convince her to get away from him. Actually she completely turned against me for having him arrested. Yes I know there was only so much I could do but I AM HER MOTHER and IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT HER NO MATTER HER AGE. The guilt and pain from her death are nothing up against the emptiness that has been left in place of my heart and emotion. If anyone has a loved one in an abusive relationship PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP ON THEM. I learned the hard way and pray no one ever has to live with and feel the pain and sence of loss that is inevitable.

This just makes me remember my dog who nobody knows where he is or if he's alive, he was the best and nicest dog anybody could ever have. Because of his kind heart he was kidnapped a few times but I still loved him a lot, he was a German Shepherd. A few months later we moved and to this day I just wanna go back to our old house and see if he came back. 😢😢😢
