Rest of the force??? Does that mean F-16, F-15 also... Value? Cost, cheap... Come on, these aircraft will not be the only ones flying around! Also, cost per hour is ridiculous. Yes the will be effective in their own right working with other assets is key with communication passing between them continuously being the " best of both worlds" perhaps?

Still no way to safely get our short range tactical fighters tanker support. The F35, F18F and F22 are limited because they have such short legs. KC10s KC135s and KC46 as well as P8s E3s and E8s are all at risk. So are their airbases.
