Truely one of the all-time greats!
He did so much for the sport.
Glad to have been there for his entire career. What a priviledge.

My 20 year old grew up playing junior tennis. He had a national ranking and played college tennis. Tomorrow will be his first day without Federer. He was in tears watching Federer's last match. Thank you Roger for it all.

Federer’s 5 consecutive US Open title is so underrated. To win it for 5 years in a row is almost an impossible feat to achieve

That match was surreal to watch. Happy he and Nadal managed to make it a close affair. What an emotional ending that was. Nadal breaking down almost got to me.

Looking back his prime that let me know how perfect he was, I thought tennis is a easy sport by his moves on the court.

Pffff, can't stop crying!
The ceremony of retirement was the most moving thing I saw in my life... and I lived a lot, as i'm the age of my great compatriot Roger Federer.
Nadal cried almost as much as Roger. Mirka, Lynette and Robert, and the 4 kids of Roger, all the family cried a lot too of course.
I saw Tsitsipas crying, Ruud a bit, Berrettini too, Taylor Fritz also, and even ND cracked up in the end; and many spectators obviously. Easier to count the people who didn't cry at all.

Crazy to think Roger never won the USO again after doing so five times in a row, and crazier to think that he and Nadal never met there.
