MPL FLEX (Multipurpose Loan Flex) - TESTIMONIALS

MPL Flex consolidates all the existing loans of a member, except housing loan. It gives an additional fund for members to use for any purpose.
LOANABLE AMOUNT
Member may avail up to 14x of his basic monthly salary (terms and conditions apply).
For first-time availees, it has a one-time waiver on the outstanding surcharges on due and demandable GSIS loan accounts.
MPL Flex will consolidate the following loans:
1. Salary Loan (SL)
2. Restructured Salary Loan (RSL)
3. Enhanced Salary Loan (ESL)
4. Emergency Loan Assistance (ELA)
5. Summer One-Month Salary Loan (SOS)
6. Conso-Loan Plus / Enhanced Conso-Loan Plus
7. Member’s Cash Advance / eCard Cash Advance / eCard Plus Cash Advance
8. Home Emergency Loan Program (HELP)
9. Educational Assistance Loan I and II (EAL I / II)
10. Fly PAL, Pay Later (FPPL)
11. Study Now, Pay Later (SNPL)
12. Stock Purchase Loan (SPL)
The consolidation will result in the full liquidation of the outstanding balances of the above mentioned loans. The outstanding balances of such loans, including surcharges (if any) to be waived, will be computed up to the date of granting of MPL Flex, Emergency Loan (EML) accounts that are in-arrears (unpaid for 6 months or less) or in-default (unpaid for more than 6 months) as well as GSIS Financial Assistance Loan (GFAL) in-arrears will be deducted from the proceeds of MPL Plus.
For those who have availed of the MPL Plus and will renew the loan under MPL Flex, the outstanding balance of the MPL Plus will be deducted from the proceeds of the loan, along with the EML and arrearages as discussed above.
QUALIFIED BORROWERS:
The following members are qualified to apply for MPL Flex:
1. Not on leave of absence without pay at the time of application;
2. Has at least one (1) month premium contributions for both Personal Share and Government Share at the time of application;
3. Has no pending administrative case and/or criminal case; Provided however, that if the pending administrative case or charge is for a light offesnse, the borrower shal remain eligible.
4. Has no GFAL account in default;
5. The agency status is not “Suspended”; and
6. The resulting net take-home pay after loan availment is not lower than the amount required under the General Appropriations Act, after all required monthly obligations have been deducted.
