Jeff Bezos Just Declared this! Blue Origin In BIG Trouble!

Blue Origin's New Shepard spacecraft has been stagnant for the past four months following a failed launch. On the other hand, SpaceX has been making rapid progress towards its goal of 100 launches. With seven successful launches in January 2023, the company seems to be well on its way to achieving this target. The SpaceX team is also gearing up for the first orbital flight of Elon Musk's starship, which is a testament to their relentless pursuit of innovation and progress. Representative Don Beyer, Chair of the House Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics, spoke about the recent failure of Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket during a sub-orbital scientific research mission. He noted that the failure occurred due to a main engine failure and a subsequent fire, which triggered the capsule's escape system, and that the capsule safely landed. Despite this, he called for a thorough investigation into the incident, and encouraged Blue Origin to be transparent about the cause of the failure.

Funny I have the opposite opinion of Blue origin…they have been honing their product until it is perfect on “paper” and hence lost the rapid and valuable lessons learned from a frantic iterative testing protocol that has elevated Spacex from the rest….you will never progress quickly if you want everything to be completely perfect prior to launch…that is how I view Blue Origin…it’s the old NASA model…which will take decades instead of years of progress

Colonizing the galaxy? I don't think so. Let's just get people living on permanent bases on the Moon and Mars. The nearest star is unreachable with today's technology. It would require some incredible breakthrough in technology (like warp drive or anti-gravity drive or trans-dimensional drive or something like that).

New Glenn can't carry my laundry to the washing machine. It's still laying on its side inside their hanger.

"Well as Blue Origin opted for the New Shepart - a thicker rocket with a capsule on top like a plastic bottle"

I've heard people comparing Blue Origin's rocket to something...naughtier... LOL

With all honesty, I'm surprised Captain Kirk and ole Jefffy boy made it to sub orbit without dying.
This space dalliance has been nothing but a small man's pissing contest with the big guy Musk and SpaceX!

This is the difference between try, fail, learn, and try again. VS analysis by paralysis old school rocket thinking

Please be careful when throwing around terms. If you want your channel to be taken seriously you MUST use the correct terms and use them correctly. We are hundreds if not thousands of years from colonizing even a small portion of the galaxy. We are most likely hundreds of years from really colonizing just our solar system.

Interesting video, but you kept on repeating yourself.

By stating that SpaceX wants to "colonize the galaxy", you've lost all credibility. Do you even know the difference between our solar system and our galaxy? What a laughably stupid statement.
