Jon Schaffer hired me to design this cover for their debut album when they got signed to Century Media back in 89. He had to sadly inform me that the label already had an appointed graphics department and my art wasn't used. He wasn't aware of that until after I did the design. He still paid me for my artwork, But this is essentially what I drew.

I heard Matt's version first but I honestly prefer this one. Even if the singing on this isn't techinically as "good", the delivery just suits this song better. Plus the intro and orchestration (or whatever that is) are awesome.

i agree, why is everyone complaining about something you can skip. Also Matt is with out a doubt a better vocalist but he can't replicate the cold atmosphere that this version has. both are great, but for different reasons
