The parade is a part of celebration events of 1000 years of unity of the Mordva people with the peoples of Russia. The Mordva is one of the Finno-Ugric ethnoses. The event took place in Saransk, the city 600 km east from Moscow. Saransk is the capital of Mordovia - Russian national Republic. In the parade one can see representatives of the Russian peoples and scenes from the history of Russia.
