Trump signs anti-Planned Parenthood law

President Donald Trump privately signed a bill on Thursday that allows states to withhold federal money from organizations that provide abortion services, including Planned Parenthood. CNN's Sunlen Serfaty reports.

Well Trump did say during the election he would defund planned parenthood. So this is not shock at all. And this is good, because the one thing I know about both pro life and pro choice folks is that they don't want to pay for someone else's abortion.

I am a center left atheist and even I am opposed to abortion. Don't get me wrong, in the cases of rape, incest and medical complications I agree abortion should be a option for the woman. However, I am not ok with both the would be mothers and fathers using abortion to escape their responsibilities. It is disgusting and anti humanist to discard your offspring because of your own selfish reasons.

During the campaign, it was made clear that PP provides reproductive healthcare for men and women, and does so for others who had no other way to obtain care. I read an account from a widowed mom in rural Texas. She had two young daughters and breast cancer. If not for PP, she would have died, leaving these two young children orphaned. Nothing pro-life or pro-anything about this destructive, ignorant bill.

I'm all for proper healthcare for women!! Abortions however NO!! There are other options like adoption and help for the mother of she wants to keep her child. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life and I will not judge others, if someone wants to be physically intimate with their partner but be smart about it.

One of its execs, Dr. Vanessa Cullins is married to a man who currently has a permanent restraining order against him for repeatedly beating a woman. In fact, one time he dragged me (by my neck) down a flight of stairs, through an almost half acre yard and through us (me and our 1 year old son) on the hood of a car while I was holding our son in my arms and beat me. Causing me to lose my unborn child. All while Vanessa stood watching and laughing. I guess PP endorses abortions, no matter how they happen.
