We adopted a super shy/PTSD black&white female called Rosie, she would flinch at you opening a can of coke, for the first year or so. Incredibly skittish. Her paw was all shaved and stitched because she'd been attacked by a fox...looked very forlorn and worried when she arrived. Now she yowls at birds in the garden all morning and shouts for her food. Absolutely adore her.
