For Season 4, I decided to do 10 final episodes in studio and honor a Portuguese Artist - that has inspired me in any way - in each one of those episodes. It is my way of leaving a bit of myself and my culture at Berklee, the place I studied for the last 3 years.

I don’t speak Portuguese. But the power of the beautiful music and its presentation by these two immensely talented individuals brings tears of joy to my eyes.
The lady singer leverages the music of the Portuguese language, her “bedroom voice”, with the music itself so perfectly, it becomes one and the same stream of pure emotion. This is beyond gorgeous.

Puxa não consigo encontrar palavras... Eu amei essa música. MARO e Jesús, parabéns.

Apesar de ser português, cheguei até à Maro através do Rick Beato. Neste momento já vi e ouvi inúmeros videos dela, já a vi no Festival e tudo. É brutal, linda voz, tudo... Mas como sou um fã do Veloso este tema (que já conhecia) tocou-me particularmente. E o Jesús ajuda à boa onda, com alta sensibilidade. Muito bom!!!
