How to type the forward slash (/) with any keyboard

Forward slash / is a symbol that you'll need every now and then. I've already shown a few methods to find the forward slash / on your keyboard. If you're still unsuccessful, then I suggest you to try ASCII code which is also known as Alt Code.

The above solution can also be used for MAC. Just instead of Alt press the Option key. For Mac (Apple) please use Option + Shift + 1. In most cases, in Mac, the Alt key is replaced by the Option key.

Your stuff is downvoted for some reason. It worked for me, so thank you very much ! It comes in handy when I try to do a forward slash on a French keyboard while using the Japanese IME keyboard on Windows as the key present on your keyboard for the forward slash doesn't exist on French keyboards.
