Most People Miss This Area of Zion National Park - Kolob Terrace Scenic Drive 4K

Complete scenic drive on the often unknown and overlooked Kolob Terrace through Zion National Park in southwest Utah. In this drive we begin in Virgin, Utah and head north on scenic Kolob Terrace through multiple sections of Zion National Park between the Zion Canyon and Kolob Canyon areas and up to Kolob Reservoir, then head south back down to Virgin.

This drive was filmed in mid-August.

Thank you son. This was the perfect trip. I came home yesterday from the hosp after having double hernia surgery and the doc said to rest and relax. Physically I did, but my mind was all active. There is a white thread through the mountains to our right as we begin the video which begged the question was it laid down by a shallow inland sea or was it volcanic ash from one of the many volcanos north of Utah and there were red rocks which we know were loaded with iron that oxidized when exposed to the air. And the reservoir showed no signs of the drought they have been having in the Southwest. Thank you it was a great journey today. :D
