Who knew actually making your antagonist more powerful than your protagonist would help an antagonist feel actually threatening. Watching as your hero gets bewildered by the realization of, "Im not in control/i have no power here" and "if I stay, I will die/im screwed, causing them to panic and run for there life

This is the best visual example of what it feels like to live with depression. This dark pure evil feeling that is always lurking in the background while you are out there trying to live your live in the best and happiest way possible. This feeling is always on the hunt and sooner or later, everyday or once every while, just catches up with you. No matter how fast you run or how mentally at peace or prepared you are…but we always pick it up…keep picking it up, stay strong <3

I love how I hadn't even seen the film for myself originally and I already know enough about the wolves character to know as to why he's the most liked and interesting portrayal of Death personified-

(Despite having bits and pieces of the movie initially spoiled, that doesn't in my opinion take away from the performance, maybe from the initial reveal but I'm okay with that as for awhile I wasn't understanding the hype amd probably wouldn't have until I checked the film out which if we're being honest probably wouldn't have been till long after the movie died out.)

Like just in that initial bar scene alone, we already have so much to go with his and that's just in his introduction- We can clearly see he enjoys the hunt and despite winning every time that doesn't deter him, it just sours the hunt a little, as even himself has said nobody's beat him YET, almost implying he's fought people that make him think losing against someone is possible or just seeing hoe long some people hold on is enough for him to believe that maybe with enough Willpower and someone maybe having just even slightly an idea of what they're getting into might be enough to turn the tide in their favor. He's someone who doesn't look down upon his enemies unless they truly deserve such disrespect and it's only until he realizes how full of himself puss is at first that he gets angry and uses his sinister nature to not only strike more fear into him but to use thag to further toy with him.

And the rest of the films fun for him is him tracking down and planning to put an end to him and his cowardice but when Puss confronts his fear and death himself that the fun again for hin starts to fade, Him even saying something along the lines of "You're ruining this for me" Because initially he was a fan before he realized how full of crap puss was and him truly embracing that mortality that he so much feared throughout the film and that he only truly established becoming what people thought of him through this hunt to the death, The wolf's savage hunt was ruined as he was no longer hunting down someone who was a coward at heart, He had forged him mentally into the legend he was pretty much know for and trying to take his soul from him as his original intended was pointless as puss has finally and properly, fully and instantly regained that respect he had for him towards the start of the film on that very moment he not only disarmed Death but also how he kicked him back his weapon- It showed he was tired of running and was not only more then willingbto go out fighting of he had to but thag he was ready to fight to death for his last life rather then take the cowards way out.
