Greetings from Russia. Respect for territorial value is important. But it is even more important that it works in all directions. Kosovo must return to Serbia. Taiwan to China. And Crimea and Donbass to Ukraine. NATO must abide by the agreements and retreat to the 1991 borders. Honestly? I think yes. Europe requires respect for others, but let it respect itself. And so it turns out that only the United States can supply weapons to Taiwan. So why can't China supply arms to Crimea?

A cease-fire, even a temporary one, is already a major achievement in geopolitical conflicts. In the Ukraine-Russia conflict, this is at least what China is trying to acheive. China is too power for any country to take it on now. China is the only country that has workable relationship with both sides, Russia and the west. Certainly China’s action won’t be dictated by US and its western allies. It’ll calculate the, as it should, the benefits of its geopolitical actions, and seek opportunities from crises.
