Special Lesson: Half-L ('dark' L) vs R Consonant Minimal Pairs | Understand Native Speakers Better!

Показать описание
Are you one of the many English learners who have trouble hearing the difference between the L sound and the R sound? Part of the problem is likely because of something special that natives do, which is that we commonly break the rules and replace the Full-L consonant sound (the "light" L) with the Half-L vowel sound (the "dark" L). It's true! This can make it even more difficult to hear the difference between R and L, but if you train your ears with these minimal pairs, you'll more easily be able to understand native speakers of American English!
