As a Cuban that just escaped that dictatorship one year ago I support his mom’s words 100% and will make my son be very aware of this every single day!!

I'm Cuban and moved to this country when I was 15, about 30 years ago. As a Valedictorian at my School, I was interviewed by the local newspaper, and I one of the question was was so Mmmm something about my thoughts about American kids. And I said: "They take for granted what they have". Over 30 years later I thank God everyday for the opportunity to be in the country ❤🇺🇸

My wife is from Colombia, married twenty-two years. She always talks about "spoiled Americans." She tells one story about Colombia, we are silent for the rest of the day. God bless those immigrants keeping American on point and strong.

My mom is from Honduras and she would always say I'm blessed to be born in America. She loves this country so much that she taught me to love my Nation. Yes she's voting for Trump.

My mom’s Russian and Cuban. Uncompromising, respectful, hard working, incredibly loving. Miss her every day.

I have family from Cuba and they are very grateful to their parents for risking everything to give them a better life here.

As a born cuban I can testify to this 😂 there’s not a single day where my parents don’t remind me how lucky I am that they brought me here 💯

My grandmother lived through the Holocaust. Believe me, never say you're hungry! She would say, "What do you know of hungry? You've never been hungry." 😂 I miss her!

There's a cuban woman that works at the dollar general in my town..super nice lady. Always has a smile on her face. .one day, i was shopping at dg, but when i went to check out, i realized i forgot my debit hesitation, she whips out her OWN card from her purse and paid for my purchase. $28..she has a heart of gold

As an immigrant, I completely agree. I won't have the luxury of walking safely on the street when I visit my native country. That is why immigrants appreciate and love the US, and some Americans think the reverse. My response is to try the other countries.

I'm a Cuban refugee. I served 20 years US Army. Two wars. I showed my appreciation for acceptance to a country of opportunity.
