I love this piece because I feel as though I can always come back to listen and I always get something new from it. I remember first listening to it and hearing a jumble of discordant notes, but later came to realize this is such a deep piece.

I’ m Hungarian, Kodály’s passion is ours. I can feel this piece, it’ s about us! If Kodály listened to this interpretation, he were amazed I’m sure. Excellent!

I just listened to this for the first time, and I can't believe what I've just heard. As a cellist myself, some of the things he did defy the standards of cello playing and I loved and soaked in every second of it. Extremely skilled and well performed!
