Daenerys is far less a victim in her early years than in the series. The strange thing is, in the book it doesn't come off as a clear cut SA. Dany obviously knows what's expected of her, and I don't remember the precise details, but I think it's something like Drogo starts going through the "bases" as it were, and he keeps asking Dany "no?"

And when he gets to the, uhm, sweet spot he asks again "no?" but Dany replies "yes"
