maybe when someone buys a house & homesteads there their property tax should be locked in to what it was at the time they purchased the house..

if those folks make the community so desirable that people want to flock there & raise a family then it really doesn't seem very fair to punish the people that founded the community with higher taxes..

..if anything maybe the new buyers should pay a higher tax rate since they're the reason the community needs more social/utility/civil services..

..just a thought... don't hammer it in stone ....

..unless you think it sounds fair & just..
