Growing up on the south side of Chicago was rough even back then. Just no press. This song was my favorite. I paid probably less than 50 cents for the single and played it every day over and over. Gave me hope and things did get better and I continue to "walk in rays of a beautiful sun". The songs that got us through! Thanks for the post.
