I Went To the Asbury Revival and THIS Happened..

I went to the Asbury Revival and this happened. Today, I share my experience at the Asbury revival and share some takeaways from it

I think the best way to respond to the Asbury Revival, regardless of one's position on it (Pro, Con, or Middle) is to take it as a challenge to seek revival in one's own faith community. When I see the videos of Asbury, instead of writing it off, I pray that my own church would feel a move of God among both the young and old. More public evangelism, more worship, more repentance, more prayer, more seeking after God, more signs and wonders, more of GOD in our lives. Let's pray for that!

Our young people definitely need an awakening. They are so self-involved - I am praying whoever attends the revival gets an awakening. If even one person is brought to our Lord, it can't be a bad thing can it?

God really is working. More and more people are being saved on my college too! We have a prayer meeting every week and it keeps growing. Last week 2 people gave their lives to Christ and a couple weeks before that 4 people did! The Holy Spirit is moving through our college campuses!

Thanks for your honest view of The Asbury Revival. You went with the right mindset and heart and didn't make negative comments on something that started between those students and The Holy Spirit. Those students most definitely came away with a beautiful blessing and inspiration from God they had never seen before!

I experience revival in our house and its not triggered by music, its like a strong conviction that i want to go on my knees and repent on my sins and thank him cause he give his life to me, Im crying so much that time and i dont know why i cant control my emotion, immediately After that experience i feel comfort, peace and like someone is telling me that im safe. I change a lot after that day and the thing that i notice that most even to this day is everytime i did something wrong there is a subtle voice thats telling me that i need to confess it to Jesus.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I pray that we will stop being divided over these things, but humble ourselves, pray for discernment, and become more united as we seek Christ and God's will. If this is truly from God, then we will see growth from the seeds that were planted, lives changed, and people bearing more fruit. May a spirit of revival and healing spread throughout the world. Well done. Excellent, balanced review. Personally, having experienced the impact of Asbury’s revival of 1970, as a freshman in a college in Ohio at that time, this shows multiple signs of an authentic move of God! Time will tell the impact, nationally and globally of this Holy Encounter with our Lord Jesus. I was profoundly moved by the in-depth hunger reflected by thousands and thousands of people, both young and old that poured into Wilmore, Kentucky! Praise be to God!

The best way to test the spirit is not by being an onlooker. Go to the altar kneel down and repent of your sins to Jesus. That time you will know if the revival is real, for the Lord Jesus will show it to you

Thank you so much for your comments and the experience that you had. I have watched several videos of what is happening and I only feel positive things about this. I’m sorry I can’t express myself better, I had Covid last fall, and I still have brain fog, and cannot really put sentences together. but I so enjoyed everything that you had to say. Yes, we are supposed to discern the spirits. I don’t think we should be critical about what is happening. This is a different generation. If this works for them, then that’s wonderful. thank you for your very honest, authentic review of your experience at Asbury. I have found that all of the people who actually went there have wonderful comments. The only critical ones are from the people who were not there. Ego loves cynicism. I was blessed just by hearing the reviews of those who attended..
