Sweet! When you put them in the dishwasher, you give your whole family lead poisoning! What are the odds the botton falls off in the dishwasher? Sounds super safe and great for the environment! Hydroflask doesn't use lead, so I guess it's not every manufacturer ....

Is it still safe to use the cup if that part hasn’t fallen off ?😳

I would dispute that lead being out of touch is not a problem. Because old damp lead can become lead oxide which is highly toxic, and I wouldn’t want that in my dishwasher. 🇬🇧

Stanley’s full of it, how are consumers suppose to know this? What’s preventing someone from just putting their cup in something else and contaminating it with the Stanley lead

the lifetime warranty only lasts for about a month after purchase

I threw mine out. It’s not safe to have any lead in the house, even encapsulated lead because encapsulation doesn’t take wear and tear into consideration after prolonged use. It’s honestly not safe so please avoid all companies that do these things! There’s so many high quality bottles that don’t use lead and are just as good if not better. The two I always used growing up (hydro flask and yeti) are same price, same features and quality if not better quality and don’t use lead. Please don’t ever trust companies like Stanley that do something like this. It’s only safe before wear and tear. Please don’t risk damage and lead exposure to yourself, kids, pets. Not worth it. By the way, many companies do sneaky things like this because of loopholes and no lead requirements on the imports. So even if you buy from a local store, check the lead laws of the country it’s imported from since our current import laws with lead are very weak and there’s a lack of global support. Stanley’s loophole was encapsulation but there’s so many more loopholes and import issues.

What is the purpose of the lead? Can’t they make the cup all stainless steel? We all know lead is dangerous. Why even have it on the cup?

This has nothing at all to do with hockey
