This is why I love YouTube. Such a smart idea, along with the guy that said sawzall with no blade. If you’re occasionally doing small concrete pours and don’t want to spend thousands on a vibrator, this is great.

Or just use an orbital sander with no sandpaper, but use some kind of backing so the velcro doesn't get damaged.

Vibrating the air bubbles out of the form, Strip the "forms" and all those little pockets are called holidays, On a structure requiring intense specifications holidays are not acceptable

He's using just the hammer function of the drill to shake the mortar to the edge

Why not stick it in the mortar itself and then rinse it off with water?
