Thank you for covering this! I know someone who boasts that they started feom zero with "zero" followers, but had several years in the top ranks of two different mlms (both companies crumbled), a massive email list from their time in mlms, and thousands of FB/IG followers. They can't be honest because people would realize they don't have the same experience snd following.

A lot of people in MLMs are trying this because they aren't making any money in the MLM. Unfortunately, they just wind up being scammed again.

When ever I here someone claim they made 10k a month on digital products, I think they already had a big audience to begin with or they spent a lot of money on ads. They always leave those two things out

Basically, it's a modern version of putting an ad in the newspaper saying "Send me $1 to learn how to make money" then sending them a letter that says "Put an ad in the paper saying 'Send me $1 to learn how to make money".

I'm just starting video, but I am curious. I'm not a fan of MRR, but do influencers ever actually do UGC. I've only ever had one experience with UGC and it was them using a script (all the videos I found for the same company) claiming to be an influencer (with only like 3 followers) and they were giving us access to their code that made everything on a website free. It was for Modababe (and is my first long video, showing the scam but I'm not a scam debunk channel.) But I'm curious if UGC is ever NOT a scam. Like do legit companies ever actually pay people to make videos with a script and then they buy or approve the ones they like? Or UGC just all companies trying to skip having to pay for sponsorships but get ads.

7:30 This passive income debate drives me nuts. First, passive income is a type of investing, not an asset class. You can invest passively in the stock market, real estate, startups, etc, i.e. anything that you don't control or actively manage. There's no shortage of passive investment opportunities.

BUT running a business isn't passive. If you're the one in charge, it's not passive!

Second, finding and maximizing passive income also isn't passive. Anyone who makes significant passive income already had a lot of money, which (unless they inherited it) they earned actively.

Yeah I just came upon a tik tok live where this girl explaining she made 700k from digital products 🤔😒. I was like something sound very fishy. Did a quick research and found this was a scam. I feel bad for people who buying these courses 😢
