Hello I am a wannabe herpetologist and I will give you my thoughts, considering the size of the gator and croc, I think the gator would have a pretty easy victory here. Even though the croc is faster, the gator still is way stronger and has way more muscle. So if the gator got a really good bite in a critical area it would win. I can’t say the same for the croc

In nature, very rarely do animals fight to the death. More often than not. They just fight till one party yields. Injuries in nature are a death sentence, therefore they'll try to avoid them if possible.
