I don’t mind the traditions. I think there’s absolutely a place for them. The issue comes when the traditions and scripture are at odds with each other, and I don’t care what you say it absolutely happens. When that occurs which do you put your faith in? A tradition with murky origins? Or the Word of God?

I returned to God after running many years in the wrong direction. I found a wonderful Protestant church and was fully engaged. But I wanted to return fully to God, so I also attended a Catholic Church. Both every Sunday. Over time, with my family, I wondered if it was sustainable. I was unwilling to choose. And I had my beliefs on where God wanted me to go, but I refuse to choose. So I prayed. And I followed God.
Jesus is the head of me, and my family. He is the head of the Church, those who are called out. He has dominion over All things, not just one denomination.

I have a personal relationship with God, why would I need a priest in a box to achieve forgiveness of sin when I talk to him every single day? Why does Christ need a man's help forgiving me?

The catholic church has positioned itself as a middleman between man and God, and that doesnt work for me.

As Protestants, we don’t look at Scripture to decide what suits our interpretation; we interpret the Bible based on what the author was conveying in a particular verse or chapter. Thus, there are wrong and right interpretations. If a particular denomination disagrees with what the author was trying to convey, then we have an obligation to call them out for it as “fellow” Protestants.
