I think Peter and his team did something wonderful with The Lord of The Rings trilogy.
To be honest I didn't expect them to make another masterpiece.It is always hard to confirm what you've done in the past.
Well my opinion, so far, is they achieved the task of making another perfect trilogy.
They hit lotr fans to hearth.I was so happy and touched when I saw Frodo.A beautiful movie gives you emotions and all other things that you cannot describe by words.The Hobbit manage to do it in a great way.

I like how Smaug is still in shadow so you still can't really see him just the shape of his head and his epic glowing eyes.

I'm so thrilled about Legolas's personality change. Here he's all "screw you dwarf!" And in LOTR he's all "C'mere dwarf! You're my best bro!"

"why don't they stop the complaining...and prove how they can do better?" Because they don't have the 100 million dollar budget to do that. And even if they did they don't wouldn't the licensing rights to use any of the Tolken characters. So really these Hobbit movies are the only ones we will ever see and if they suck ass, then we are stuck with them and no one can change it. I personally liked an unexpected journey but I recognize it pacing issues and other problems that can't be fixed now.

It's not just about them changing the story. It's more about weather or not the changes they made are justified for the story they are adapting. Questions such as, does the Hobbit need to be three movies when you can make Return of the King into one are valid points people should be at least think about. As far as saying, you try and to better, that is not a valid defense because even if someone could they would have no way of showing if they could, these movies are the only things being made.

Of course he didn't have that kind of money early on but he was smart enough to not attempt LOTR without it.
And no, no one is going to remake the the hobbit anytime soon, even if it did change studios. It would be like remaking Star Wars or Citizen Kane. And something like Spiderman is different because that would just be a reboot.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy has hade such a big part of my childhood and i love them with my whole heart. Thats the reason that when watching this i get goosebumps, shiver and cry... They're not just movies to me! The Hobbit trilogy will never get near LOTR, i get that, but yet i literally can't wait for this movie... Only a true LOTR fan can understand what im talking about.
