My old Border collie/Jack Russel mix helped my new puppy through the fireworks this past 4th of July. She is nearly full grown and 10x his size. (She is border collie mixed with some kind of hunting or bird dog). She is also much more timid than he is, but she looked to him and he taught her that there was nothing to fear. We all sat on the porch and watched fireworks nice and calm. He’s such a good boy. He’s old and cranky and gets tired of “raising a puppy” sometimes, but when she really needs help, he’s there for her. Your books and dvds helped me train Boomer and now he’s helping pass on that knowledge to Lelu. Thank you so much!
P.S. She’s a sweet good girl too.

Oscar looks like a cross between a German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd. He could also be part collie but the ears and haircoat look definitely more Aussie.

I had a really sweet rescue who had lived in a rescue home of 30 dogs and she was just terrified of so many things including all those dogs. She was sweet as pie once she got out of that situation but she was afraid of some weird noises like a bell ringing.
