As an MBA, A Mechanical Engineer, an Entrepreneur and a Financial Consultant, I found the Book Rich Dad Poor Dad to be a fable
that teaches you literally nothing about Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, investing into the stock market, the importance of obtaining an education that pays you a six figure salary, or anything that teaches you how to build meaningful generational wealth. And the fact that Robert Kiyosakis business filed for Bankruptcy in 2013 speaks volumes business acumen.

The book Rich Dad Poor Dad teaches you literally nothing about Finance or how to build generational wealth.

I also take issues with a self professed Financial Guru like Robert Kiyosaki who brags about being $1, 200, 000, 000s in debt and who nonchalantly says the govt is coming to save him from his bad investments

It’s imperative to do our own research and ask questions. We cannot blindly accept information as facts.

Edit: If I have to pay someone big bucks to learn “the secrets to success” then I don’t want it. Channels like Financipation are literally giving away free, life changing knowledge. We need more than a “feel good” seminar and motivational speech.

I hear you. It's important to acknowledge diverse paths to success, whether through traditional education or hands-on experience. Understanding the nuances of different investment ideologies is crucial, considering the variety of approaches people take. Statistics might not capture the full picture, and exploring practical, actionable tips is key. Bringing different perspectives, like having a conversation with Robert on a podcast, could provide valuable insights. Peace and love to you too!

It's healthy to do what works for you. Some people work well with debt like a Kiyosaki model others work well without debt like a Dave Ramsey model. My personal opinion is regardless if you like Kiyosaki or Ramsey model to have no silver and gold is a very bad decision so I pretty much agree with what you saying.

As usual, another great podcast. Continue to do what you are doing.

You made a LOT of good points about Robert Kiyosaki, however, you don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water. There are three things that my children, my close family and friends, and I have learned from Mr. Kiyosaki.
1-An investment is an investment if and only IF, it pays you to own it.
2-Assets put money 💴 into your pockets, liabilities take money out of your pockets.
3-Pay yourself first.

Overall, Robert Kiyosaki is less than average at best. That’s my personal opinion

Kiyosaki is sitting on 1.2 billion in debt that he admits to. His net worth estimate is around 100 million. The question is can he handle the payments on that type of debt load. I think he operates under the same policy as Wall Street. Create a bunch of LLC's, borrow money to buy assets and then pull assets out of the LLC and file bankruptcy sticking the debt on the bank and taxpayers. A nicer version of the Trump model (the Trump model includes stiffing your contractors and employees).

I hate the fact that I was apart of the cult for a short stint of my life.

Thank you! Finally someone tells the truth about him. I so agree with you! He is also bad person. He talks dirty about people. Whenever he opens his mouth it’s never make sense to me.

If the only jobs available is customer service, then no, you don’t need a bachelor to work at Macy’s, restaurant, etc. minimum wage is for the working poor. If you want a corporate job etc, you need a minimum of a bachelors degree. So it all depends on what job you want.

But yes, being educated is always better that being ignorant. Learning can also be fun and a way to network & socialize.

I paid for my daughters private schooling and now she is in an Ivy university. So yes, I value education.

The fact that you read that book in the 8th grade makes me trust what you said.

And Robert Kiyosaki‘s whole angle is for you to work for yourself. That’s why he breaks down the cash flow quadrant. but you are encouraging people to get degrees and work inside someone else’s system while Robert Kosaki is telling you to create your own system. This is sounding a little suspicious to me brother.

My brother, I love your content and your intention for this Channel. Though I do not have any personal feelings for Robert Kiosaki, I can attest that the information in his book is 100% accurate and factual. For example, his comment on education, I am self taught and know more from the information from his books than the CPAs And corporate lawyers that work for my company, I teach them methods that I learned from his books(like protecting your businesses with UCCstatements, ) and his companion books like Garrett Sutton, and Tom Wheelwright, whose information is irrefutable and impeccable. I have to respectfully disagree with you, his books, and the books of his co-authors got me to where I am today and my circle of friends, so I don’t know if this is something personal between you and him but this is not good look brother!
