Hello Bert. I've worked you several times on 40M and 20M!

Question about the noise blanker.

Is there distortion when the NB is on and a strong SSB station is near to the frequency you are operating on? As you know this is a problem with many different rigs.

Hi PA5HR1, this looks and sounds like a real good noise reduction! I am still learning for the N and F exams in september in Veldhoven the Netherlands. Hopefully I pass and when I do, I might buy the little brother, the FTDX3000. But first I have to pass! 73 Marc

It's strange my AF-FFT-MAIN screen is less nuanced than on your computer.
Can you tell me if when you play with the NB level going from 0 to 10, if the hollow of the cloud disappears on the AF FFT-MAIN. At 0 I have the spectrum cut - At 10 I have more line cut in the spectrum. - 73 F1UBW

It would help if you hadn't changed the r.f gain setting as well.. it would have demonstrated the NR feature does not work properly.
