A good tip is to get those litter bowl thingies you put over a toilet, they use that until they get used to sitting and using it, then you can take it off.

This is just terrible for the cat. When they're young it's ok. When they age and they have arthritis or can't balance well on the slippery surface, it's going to be very problematic
