MAKE your own BUCKTAIL or TWITCH jig for FISHING. EASY and VERY cheap!

I bought some bucktail jigs to try to catch some bay bass and whatever would bite in the surf. Well, they worked great in the harbor for bay bass and halibut. They worked so good in fact that I decided I wanted to try my hand at making my own to save a few buck and make them exactly how I wanted them.

They were VERY easy to make and, well, they catch fish! I said it with the plastic ripper swimbaits and I'll say it here too - The lure or jig you make on your own doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be good enough to get bit. That's exactly how this has gone. The buck tail made in this video was only the 4th one I had ever made...and it got bit!!!

Go ahead, give it a try! Visit our Storefront on our website (link below) and scroll down to the Buck Tail Making section to see/purchase the exact materials I use to make my jigs. Some are from Barlow's Tackle and some are from Amazon. Choose what you're most comfortable with.

Nice thanks for sharing, how about one for the jerkbaits, and 10gr, 20gr metal jigs. Jetkbaits are hitting $20+
