Hi I'd just like to say I really appreciate how straight to the point your tutorials are and how you don't beat around the bush. As a programmer who was really hesitant to go with Unreal just due to the fact that I had to learn the Blueprint system, finding videos like this is really refreshing. I hate having to watch youtube videos vs just reading docs but in this case the docs weren't helpful because it's such a different system from what I'm use to. Thank you.

Great video, very straightforward. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!
I was able to replace the gun, but once i run over it and pick it up, it change back do the original BP even if I set to be hidden in game. Before pick it up, my model, after picking it up, old one!

How can I fix it?

so for some reason when i pick up the weapon it goes back to bp blaster

How to fix the aniamtion when it’s not holding the gun but has the aniamtion anyway and make it as it’s hands rested and when it grabs the gun then has that animation

Thank you very much for your tutorial. I have made a small game with the fist person template and I don't know if I should change the gun or keep the original. Do you know what are Epic's rules regarding the original first person template? Can we use it in a game or is it just example use and has to be replaced?

my gun is not in the same pos at the default gun in fp view.. any fix?

I have this problem where if I change the pick up model, it won’t show up when I pick up the gun. The gun model I made appears when I’m not holding the gun but it disappears once I pick it up and the original gun reappears even though I clicked “hidden in game”

I made a handgun and when it hovers on the ground it but when it goes into my hand it is way too big. Is there a way to shrink down the model when in first person?
