Firefighters gain ground against Yosemite wildfire

A wildfire burning in California's Yosemite National Park continues to grow, but firefighters have been gaining ground in their battle to get it under control. The fire is threatening giant sequoias that are thousands of years old.

I just heard that this was caused by humans, not lightening. The trees will survive, they always have. If humans would quit touching them that would help. Destroys the bark making them vulnerable to bugs and fire. Stupid HUMANS!!!!

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:

It's such a shame that perscribed burnings are fought against because an endangered whatever lives there. Now because there are so many downed trees EVERYTHING DIES. There is no habitat left for that endangered whatever, EVERYTHING IS GONE. Natural or perscribed burning of the landscape needs to happen otherwise it will all be gone.
