It's crazy how mellow and welcoming it looks from the cliffs. Once your in the water only a few feet away from the beast, the entire atmosphere changes. There's a local break near me in San Diego called Black's Beach. It's a world class break and breaks larger than other breaks in the county due to an underwater canyon offshore. From the cliffs, you see these soft, slow rolling peaks that look like ripples on a blanket. In the water, or even from the shore - you see how much bigger, faster, and heavier the waves actually are.

That drone movement in the opening had me worried a bit as a drone pilot 😂, but epic video man you charged Peahi that was awesome congrats!
