She broke a number of American records for high school pole vaulting. Images of her at age seventeen were widely shared on the Internet, resulting in her becoming an internet phenomenon.

She is married to the well-known golfer Rickie Fowler. Rickie Fowler is a professional, American golfer who was the number one ranked amateur golfer in the world for 36 weeks in 2007 and 2008. On January 24, 2016, he reached a career-high fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking following his victory in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

Allison Stokke and Rickie Fowler married in 2019.

If you're going to present a video of an event which affected someone's career it would be nice to show specifically what it was.

All I know is this video did kill HIS career for me.

But with the clothing for women's sports getting skimpier, i.e. swimming, gymnastics, field and track, volly ball, and skating, for the attractive and extremely fit young women involved in these sports it's impossible to not have the level of interest generated especially when they are being photographed from so many angles it's impossible to not get an extremely "candid" shot every few moments.

Just remember not all remarks are meant to be degrading nor sexist even if they are a bit "tongue in cheek" after all, in the end it is the publisher of the magazine or video who has presented the image for us to see and hopefully be appreciate for the athletes strength and beauty.

Stealing totally unrelated clips, editing them into your video is ridiculous. Continuity is key in any video production, very simply put video should at least have something to do with audio. Also, I don't think the echo contributes at all.

I've never heard of Allison's story, but unfortunately it's not surprising. The internet brings out the worst in so many people. Behind a screen, these cowards do things they'd never have the courage to do in real life, and say things they'd never say to someone's face in real life. It's wonderful that Allison found a way to overcome this awful experience.

thankfully I had it on speed 2x and sound down so I didn't waste a full 5 mins. Still what I can't seem to find having never heard the story till today, is this controversial photo. I mean I see some with her holding the pole and yea she looks fab, but I have yet to see anything wrong or controversial. Is this just one of those things where the athlete is a perfect example of form, grace, and athleticism but old whining grannies get their panties in a twist because the person doesn't fit some stereo type? Or did she have some sort of hate symbol tattoo? Did she hold a sign threatening violence against people? Seriously, what was the freaking photo?
