Si collapsed a bit under the pressure. Poor safety and taking on increasingly crazy shots in an attempt to just win a frame and stop the rot. But in doing so he gave Luca so many chances.
But saying that what a sensation he's been and I can't wait to see more of him. Never won a tournament let alone been on the biggest stage. He did amazingly well.

Considering that Luca Brecel has never gone beyond the first round at the World Championships before, the fact that he reached the Crucible final for the first time in his career makes his victory in the semifinals already historic. I must admit the one time boy wonder, more than 10 years ago, really is surprising me.
I thought he didn't have the mindset and attitude to make it on the biggest stage, despite his enourmous talent.
It's so good to see him prove me (and a lot of others) wrong though!
