Ceratec has really lowered my normal oil temps by 15-20 degrees. Always registered now it's 182-187.

Aftermarket coils for MQB have such a negative stigma at this point.. these are going to be a hard sell even if the product is excellent.

Are there any trans coolers out there for the platform? I figured it would be cool if someone made a functional grill vent (or just cut the holes) for the right side and it could be mounted up

I would assume they dont provide a better spark however I would be that they would increase the life of the coil.

Its a good idea, but heatsinks transfer heat from something hot, with cold air. The engine bay, right on top of the engine is going to be pretty hot. So the heat sink isnt going to do much in my untrained opinion. Plus VW spent millons on R&D.
