I didnt know cream blush was easier, I've been avoiding it because I thought it was harder to work with

FOR BEGINNERS: Multitask your makeup. If you get a jumbo pencil in a gold/pearl shade, you can use it for eyeshadow and highlight. If you get a cream blush stick in a pink or red tone, you can use it as an eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. Tinted moisturizer or bb cream is more forgiving than foundation for an easy, dewy finish that doesn't leave you looking like an egg (bc foundation all over the face without bronzer/contouring can look like an unfinished face). This is also buildable. Get one with SPF in it and you can swipe it on with your fingers and you can do your WHOLE FACE with no tools. Wet n wild and ELF have great cheap products for beginners. I've been doing my makeup for years and it's still my go to for quick, light makeup looks. Also, it doesn't break the bank. To this day, my favorite mascara is the lengthening mascara in the purple tube from wet n wild. It looks like false lashes. Nyx eyeliner pencils in black (for a bold look) or brown (for a softer, daytime look - this can also double as a lip liner). Hope this helps!

thanks for this!! when i was first getting into makeup all the videos for “beginners” had such complicated stuff and it made it so overwhelming. they rarely addressed whats easier to use unless they were talking about eyeliner. and i got pissed because not a single video EVER touched on the fact that beginners dont always have brushes! that little tidbit excited me way more than it should have lol

For those wondering the cream blush is the undone lip to cheek cream palette. Idk the shade for sure but my best guess is flare.

i feel like cream blushes are a little hard to work with if you have oily skin try going for a powder blush if you have oily skin and if you have dry skin go for liquid blush and before buying the product definitely watch reviews to see if it's easily blendable

By the way, that undone beauty blush has three different consistencies, one is sheer, one is medium, and one is opaque. It’s basically a 3 for 1 product! Undone Beauty is such a good brand by the way, I highly recommend their products!

As someone whose been doing makeup basically their whole life, I definitely recommend starting with cream blushes. I recommend a lot of cream based products ngl bc if your new to it, blending can definitely be a bit difficult so using cream bases are definitely much easier to use. They also come out more natural looking than a powder based product.

I love cream blush just because I always get shades that are so natural and it’s so much easier to blend❤

As someone who is like just alright a makeup (i like to just do a lil foundation/concelear and focus more on my eyeshadow and blush/highlighter.) I really enjoy using a beauty blender or any sponge/puff to do a light/opaque cream blush base then set the powder blush on top to add more color and make the blush matte. Then highlighter, to give back some of the shine lost from me making the cream blush matte w/ powder.

When I first started makeup blush in general was scary to me bc i always looked like a clown with it. After years of avoiding it and watching thousands of makeup videos, i learned how to do it easily! Ofc when i started doing my makeup i dont think cream blush was really a big thing so I never used it. When it did become a big thing I've been terrified to try it bc i thought it was so difficult. Just this year i started using a cream blush, but now I'm not a beginner as i have done makeup for years now (STILL DEFINITELY NOT A PROFESSIONAL/PERFECTOR!!) But what i have learned abt cream blushes, they are easy to work with if you have the right applicator for them! I first tried using my fingers and that didn't turn out the best, then i tried a sponge and that wasn't that great either (bc the blush i got was the elf putty blush) but once i got the specific brush for it, it's now super easy to work with!!!
